• Responds to citizen-initiated calls for service
• Conducts investigations
• Patrols city streets, areas and businesses to deter criminal activity
• Explains law and police procedures to citizens
• Checks for warrants/wants on persons
• Identifies, collect and preserves evidence
• Observes, memorizes and recall detail

• Must be in sufficient physical condition to perform duties as assigned
• Drive a police vehicle safely in both emergency and non-emergency situations
